Environmental Policy


All Grundy employees and contractors are responsible for meeting the environmental expectations of the organisation.  We recognise that our environment includes the local communities in which we operate, customer sites, our office and factory locations and the way in which we travel to our destination, demonstrated by the use of our GreenShareCar fleet.



Grundy is an accredited Green Living Builder with the Master Builders Association, providing all staff with training about best practices in sustainable living.



In implementing this policy Grundy Constructions will:

  • Document and implement a waste management plan to ensure waste is minimised and materials are recycled wherever possible.
  • Source and promote a product range to minimise environmental impact.
  • Educate and train all staff about the importance of ecofriendly practices and ways of implementing them.
  • Ensure the continued implementation of improvement strategies to mitigate our environmental impact, such as the use of GreenShareCar.
  • Review the basis for this policy yearly and implement changes and innovations which help achieve our ultimate objective of zero harm.
